Meal plan price update - your questions answered

In June 2026, Lyka is updating the price of all meal plans for the first time in almost 3 years. We know this isn't easy news, and we want to be as transparent as possible about what's behind this change, what's different, and what it means for your pup. 💚

Why has the price changed?

The cost of making your pup's meals has risen significantly alongside the broader cost of living in Australia. We've seen sustained increases from our fresh produce and meat suppliers, as well as ongoing rises in transport, manufacturing, and labour costs.

We have worked hard to absorb as much of this as possible. This is our first pricing change in almost 3 years - we held off for as long as we could.

We will always remain dedicated to delivering high-quality meals for your pup, and will never compromise on ingredients or take shortcuts to manage our costs.

What's changing?

We are making a small increase to our Lyka meal plans. There will be no change to our extras (treats & supplements). This is our first price change in almost 3 years, and has been driven by rising costs across ingredients, transport, and manufacturing in Australia.

When does my new price take effect?

The new pricing will be rolled out progressively from 22 June. You'll have received (or will receive) an email with your specific payment and delivery date, giving you at least 5 days' notice before your payment is processed.

How much has my price gone up?

Our meal plan prices have increased by around 10% - our first price change in almost 3 years. We round each daily price to the nearest 5 cents, so the actual increase may be a touch above or below that figure for your plan specifically. Your notification email shows your exact new daily price and next charge date. You can also log in to your Lyka account and head to My Plan to see your updated pricing at any time.

I'm paused or cancelled - what does this mean for me?

If you're currently paused or cancelled, you'll be able to see your new daily price via the online account when you choose to reactivate. You don't need to do anything if you're not planning to reactivate.

I want to make a change to my plan

You can manage your plan anytime by logging in to your Lyka account:

  • Downsize your portion: Head to My PlanEdit Plan to adjust your pup's portion size. A smaller plan means a lower cost while keeping the same quality food.
  • Pause your plan: Please get in touch with our team and we'll look into it for you.
  • Cancel your plan: Head to My PlanCancel Plan to cancel your subscription.

My new price looks wrong

If the pricing in your account or on your email doesn't look right, please get in touch with our team and we'll look into it for you. Please have your account email address ready and let us know the price you were expecting and what you're seeing.
